Love your reviews!
It's appreciated to defend the lack of quips but it's okay to admit the criticism is completely valid and warranted. It's more apparent when you play the games and hear Tobey firing off lines left and right. It's still very much a valid criticism. I didn't even care back then until as I was getting older and learning about Spider-Man and realized going back and rewatching, it's his quips that I began to miss the most.
